Whole Systems Design has been designing, building, and consulting on regenerative and resilient land/living systems in Vermont and around the world for 20 years. We perform site assessment, property evaluation and site design, rural relocation strategy, homestead and farm design, water and food systems design, resilient passive homes design and land-based education.

The WSD Permaculture Design Course is described as a “life-changing experience” with regularity . The Northeast’s longest-running and most well-regarded Permaculture course emphasizes experiential learning and observation within two established working permaculture research farm, run by leading farmers, homesteaders and designers.
